Dasaradha Gude (GD)

With a long and successful track record as an industry leader and serial entrepreneur, GD is easily one of the most recognizable and famous names in the Hyderabad IT industry. From nurturing and leading multiple startup companies like CuTe Solutions (acquired by ATI technologies), Virtual IP Group, Qualcore Logic, Pacific Semiconductors (acquired by Faraday), to guiding MNCs like AMD, GD has straddled and served the industry for well over three decades in various capacities.

He was most recently the Corporate VP at AMD and responsible for multiple engineering teams in various product areas like CPUs, GPUs and consumer devices. As Managing Director for AMD India, he created a world-class team of 1200 engineers and led the development of the industry-first fusion SOC. GD also worked at S-MOS and Epson early in his career.

From being recognized as one of the “Game Changers in Indian technology industry” by the Times of India, to being awarded the “Best-Run Company Award” for AMD by HYSEA between 2007 to 2009, GD has won laurels on many fronts. He was the organizing chair for the VLSI conference in 2006 & 2008 and is a well-known speaker at various industry forums.

GD has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, A.P, India and a Diploma in Systems Management from Jamnalal Institute of Management, Mumbai, India.

Prof. K. Subbarangaiah

With an abundant experience of over 40 years in both the academia and the industry, Prof. K. Subbarangaiah acts as the perfect bridge in the area of VLSI. As Director of Physical Design at SoCtronics, he has managed physical design teams and contributed to the successful tape out of more than 40 chips of various complexities.

As an academician, he has worked for over 3 decades in various capacities in the departments of Physics & Electronics in Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur.Using his wealth of teaching experience, Prof Subbarangaiah co-founded the VEDA IIT in 1997. VEDA has to date produced over 1000 VLSI and Embedded System professionals and is acclaimed as one of the premier Institutes in the industry with a first of its kind M.S program in VLSI Engineering.

Prof Subbarangaiah’s research interests also include Ultrasonics & Electronics. He has guided several M.Phil. & Ph.D. scholars, and has published several papers in national and international journals. He is a Fellow of Acoustical Society of India and is also Life member of many professional organizations including the IEEE.He is serving on the board of studies, academic councils and Executive committees of several Universities/University Colleges. His philanthropic interests have led him to associate with organizations like ADI Foundation and Let’s Vote.
